The British Columbia Muay Thai Association is dedicated to uniting and advancing the Muay Thai community across BC through development, education, opportunity, and advocacy for the sport at every level.

Alex Dascalu

Alex Dascalu is the Head Coach of Dascalu Muay Thai in Victoria, BC, with over 20 years of experience in martial arts. He brings extensive coaching experience along with a professional background in occupational health and safety. Alex previously worked with the Department of National Defence as an Occupational Health Inspector, where he was involved in developing SOPs, bylaws, policies, and safety procedures. He brings this experience to the BC Muaythai Association with a focus on safety, clear standards, professionalism, and supporting the growth of Muay Thai in British Columbia.
